New Paintings by Jack Valentine on the allure of alternate worlds and human imagination.

“Artifact” delves into the allure of alternate worlds and human imagination. The exhibition showcases a series of devotional paintings and objects portraying scenes from the enigmatic ‘Church of Mother Nature,’ where glossy high priestesses preside over ritual, sacrifice, and worship.

Spanning two floors, this exhibition offers a feverish mix of gilded iconography, dark romanticism, and teenage pin-ups that delve into themes of hedonism, devotion, and identity.

Featuring new work for The Turner House Gallery by Cardiff-based painter Jack Valentine, Artifact is a homage to artists like Klimt, Mucha, and the Pre-Raphaelites, as well as Greco-Roman myth, the golden age of Hollywood, and the allure of the occult.
