This exhibition showcases the creativity of Year 7 and 8 Art and Design pupils at Stanwell School. Inviting you to “Step Outside”, these artworks will take you on a journey into the world of plants and the landscape, through an expressive use of colour. Biomorphic artworks reimagine plant forms through the language of abstraction, exploring shape, line and form. Artworks of the Welsh landscape consider how colour can be used to communicate atmosphere and emotion.
This work highlights the importance of gaining inspiration from the world around us and as a prompt for meaningful discussion about our responsibility to protect our natural environment.
